For the current season, Atelier Cru has collaborated on a series of images on the idea of the Exocarp (the outermost layer of plants and fruits) as the collection is built on the concept of layers in clothing. In the Exocarp collection garments may be layered and peeled to create variations of style and un/dress. Basques can be added on jackets and skirts on coats to create cover and volume, whereas double coats may be as separate layers of twill or ripstop nylon. Materials include silk, nappa leather, nylon taffeta and wool gaberdine.

The collection is a development of the Atelier’s high/low concept which combines and contrasts subcultures with refined clothing and with a sustainable objective. The Atelier Cru garments are developed as to optimize materials use and adaptability into tailored shapes.

The Tailleur Cru collection is also offered as a supplementary made-to-measurement service.
